Here at Priestley’s Gourmet Delights, the passion we have for food is at the heart of who we are. Since 1996 we have been guided by our principles in sourcing the best ingredients to meet our exceptional quality standards and always asking ‘what’s next?’ to delight our consumers with every mouthful of dessert and savoury treat.

We push the boundaries and are constantly re-imagining new ways of doing things to bring you new creations and inspiration. From our magnificent mud cake, to our prized pavlova or our scrumptious savouries, whatever the occasion, we believe everyone deserves to indulge in a delightful food to savour.

Our business is proudly Australian owned and operated. From humble beginnings the business started distributing cakes in Morningside in Queensland and has grown to a leading Australia wide national sweet and savoury food supplier.

Our philosophy is simple, we don’t stand still and we strive for more. We are pioneers in the industry, meaning we say yes in the face of no, we are constantly re-imagining new ways of doing things and we play and create to constantly bring you new creations and inspiration.

We’re not resting on our laurels and have further targets in place across the business including the reduction of carbon emissions, zero waste to landfill, eliminating plastics from packaging and all packaging to be recyclable by 2025. We continue to set, measure and deliver targets in this area as part of ongoing commitment to sustainability. It is simply just something we do and has been embedded across all functions across the business.

Gourmet Holdings

Global Operations

Priestley’s Gourmet Holdings operate in Australia and New Zealand under the brands of Priestley’s Gourmet Delights and Melba’s Gourmet Delights. Products are manufactured in state of the art facilities in Morningside, Australia and Tauranga and Blenheim in New Zealand. We produce a range of delicious treats including gourmet cakes, cheesecakes, slices, muffins, loaves, individual desserts, cookies, lamingtons, pavlovas and quiches. All supplied frozen for the domestic and international markets.

We are committed to world class food safety standards with HACCP and FSSC22000 certifications.

Priestley’s Gourmet Holdings currently distributes its products throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the South Pacific.

Our primary focus is to produce sweet and savoury creations tailored to the foodservice market, developed using premium ingredients and uncompromising presentation. Our products are pre-portioned allowing ease of handling. The majority of our products are frozen for convenience with a primary shelf-life of 12 months (from date of manufacture) and a secondary shelf-life of 5 days. We work together with key accounts to develop products specifically suited to their menus and manufactured under contract. Our team look forward to working with yours.
